I'm officially back from AX!! I'm glad I got to go, it was fun, but walking around in boots for 3 days straight w/o sitting was...painful...to say the least. But yeah, I had tons of fun with mii and we got lots of comments on our cosplays so that was really exciting. Mii got alot of comments about the multi-colored-ness of her's and had quite a few Itachi's come up trying to steal her eyes XD it's funny to think about it now, but at the time it was a little freaky. As for me, I got some 'weird' comments, I guess. We were riding up the escalator and someone coming down yelled out " Hey look! It's Sasuke and his whore!" Well, that kind of shocked me to say the least, but it was kind of funny, haha. Someone also Shouted something to Mii along the lines of "Sasuke get away from Saukra or I'll kick you!!" and in the Masquerade a Naruto in a skit said I was a prostitute. So it's pretty obvious that some people don't like Saukra, but I did get some people who seemed to like me..Ah well! It's all in good fun! XD
But man! the LACC is HUGE! It took us, well maybe more me, to partially memorize where all the rooms were and everything. It was like a maze! But I did hear that Anime Expo might be held there the next 4yrs. Not sure about this, but if that's the case I'm glad I know the layout of the center!
Days 1-3 were our cosplay days and Day 4 was Shopping! We both bought COSMODE USA which is Amazing! If you don't know what it is, it's a cosplay magazine in Japan that gives how-to's along with cosplay pictures. and they just came out with it in the US ^^ I also bought some pins and a vampire knight picture. Also on the last day, we went to Little Tokyo and did some shopping there too, but we saw some cosplayers there too, so that was fun. I think some of the other people there were a little weirded out if they didn't know what was going on XD
So yeah, that's about all that happened in a quick summary. I'll be posting some pictures in a few days.
After having so much fun this year, and learning more about how to cosplay, I'm really sad that I/we won't be going to AX again. Or atleast not for a couple of years. But maybe during this time we'll be able to keep working on cosplays so that the next time we go we'll have even better costumes!
