I'm back from Honduras! I'm actually back early...we got evacuated from the country because there were threats of violence from opposing political parties. I really didn't want to leave. I really love my host mom and brothers. They organization called us on tuesday morning and told us we had to leave, we got picked up wednesday morning and were driven to the capital later that afternoon with the rest of the volunteers. We stayed overnight and were flown out thursday morning. on friday the violence broke out.

I really loved my experience in Honduras. We worked in the school everyday except sunday from 8-11 then we would have free time. then around 6pm our family would start the generator to give us electricity, and we would all sit in a bedroom and watch a movie with friends and family. And on weekends, after the movie they would start the music and there would be dance parties! It was so much fun. I hope to go back next summer and visit my host family.
